Confusion all around…

Well its been one hell of a day with plenty of shock waves being sent through the campus, for starters, early in the morning the news broke out that 44 deemed universities, were to be de-recognised(More on this this weekend),and it was a sign of relief when GITAM didn't figure in that list, check out the latest(rather the only one..!) blog lashing article of mine here, and the “T” moment is back in action with the college being finally being closed for tomorrow, after over two hours of utter chaotic confusion over the functioning of the college tomorrow, anyways it final and Sampath ji,apparently confirmed it.

Before we head into the regular analysis of the day I would like to thank especially a particular group of people for discussing this blog, and also debating this blog,I would love to have some active participation, from actual Hyderabadi GITAMites,on this blog,

First The LB Nagar bus for having discussed this blog yesterday evening in the bus,and in reply to your queries over the ownership,I am adamant over my standard answer, its irrelevant.

Second,The CSE section, apparently has a good number of followers on this blog(thought not yet registered in the “followers” gadget ),I seriously don't understand the reason for their reluctance to publically follow this bog(as usual mail me at paz.inbox@gmail.com).

EEE apparently, hasn't got the slightest clue of the existence of this blog(not that it actually bothers me),but heck I would love to have them follow this blog, after all its dedicated to GITAM,people are bound to have different views on the way this blog works, the fonts, colours, themes being uses, etc,my humble request is that you get used to it,cause its one hell of an hectic task to alter all my basic  setting, cause I have grown used to them, its not a difficult process, but mentally it takes time to get used to the new ones,at least for me,if not for the readers,So having cleared most of the queries lets “Move on” with the day….

Coming to IT,it was one of the sections which actually stood a chance to put up a good blog, though currently inactive,I would have loved company, its a monotonous work updating the blog, with hardly any people effectively participating in it,and I accept, the new Facebook group,is sure to dent the following of this blog, not considerable thought, but heck it will to an extent.

ECE,has the maximum number of registered followers, but yet no participation.

My humble request, take some time out and participate,in this blog too!!

THE AUDITIONS:

The management sent out a circular,to all the classes calling out for students willing to audition for anchoring the GITAM events, ala, the next official one being the Republic day celebrations, coming up,and Madhavi maam has no clue on the selection process,a student disclosed on condition of anonymity when questioned about the selection process Madhavi maam went  “Sanjay sir, will decide everything”,what do I make of this ??

a very dumb attitude on her part, for heavens sake we want a  young faculty like Sirisha maam ,who could have seriously handled stuff like this easily, seriously the cultural aspect took a huge beating after she left,GITAM  misses  you a lot maam!!!

Every branch knows, when its audtions dates are on,except EEE,thats cause,Balaji ji strikes again!!!,yes he did! This freakster, didnt read the total circulr for the class he just said  “Anchoring” “give names”,dumb!!!i wonder what the EEE people made out of this..

THE SPORTS TEAMS SELECTIONS:

As usual with the Republic day around, the sport “committee” went on a recruiting rampage, signing up people on a first come first serve basic(Apparently!!)for the following stuff:

  • Volleyball
  • Throw ball
  • Chess
  • Cricket
  • Caroms
  • Table Tennis,etc

But some eyebrows are being raised over the selection procedure, with respect to  various events, and surely,we ought to have had a better selection procedure in place.

MURLI SIR HAS A FIELDS DAY:

Nothing seems to be working out for the math guy,Murli ji,cause he actually “punished” EEE and CSE today,EEE for making a racket in the class and the CSE stream, for not completing their “homework”,dumb i tell ya!!!

CHANGE IN BUS ROUTES:

The “T” factor,took its toll,yet again!!!

The bus routes of Narayanguda and L.B. nagar had to be altered due to the agitation at the Osmania University.

SEMINAR TAKES A HIT:

The IT stream, was supposed to have a seminar/guest lecture on Nanotechnology, but as luck would have it,it remains suspended as the college isn't functioning tomorrow.

Regards,

Paz.

p.s.PPL stop calling gitamites to ask them if they are still a part of a deemed university, they are in the name of Rudraram still a deemed university, whether they bribed and escaped the 44 deemed universities ka list,or fought a fierce battle is totally irrelevant!!
