Meeting for the Fest - 28/2/11

The college was abuzz with talks about the so called fest as a few seniors (ECE and EEE came to my class) were going room to room to announce that a meeting will be held at 3 PM to decide a few things on the fest that is to be held on 18th March if it is an intra-college thing and 17th-18th if it is an inter-college one..

The meeting started with the ECE HoD (forgot his name. From now on will be reffered to as HoD.) introducing himself as the convener for the fest. Hod said that it has been decided that the fest will be a science-cum-cultural fest and it will be made an inter-college one if only the students are able to get sponsors. He also gave a choice of letting this one go and next semester promised it to be a really big one.. Here an ECE senior interrupted saying that whenever we go to other fests the students always ask us about our fest. So this is the opportunity to prove ourselves.

So all the students present there from almost all classes were asked to use their networks to look for sponsors.. The most important point being that sponsorship doesn't always mean monetary one. It can also be in kind.

So guys, work up your connections, look for sponsors. If you need help contact Kartik, ECE Senior. He will help you with all the details and stuff. This is our first chance, let us prove ourselves..!!

Entries for the fest logo and the name are also welcome. It should be a combination of science and culture. Rack your brains for it.

Now the last date for finalizing the sponsors is Saturday (March 5, 2011). That will be the day when the management decides whether it is an inter-college one or an intra-college one, depending on the number of sponsors.

Let's wait and see what saturday has in store for us.

The new face…LAG 2.0

Hey everyone!

LAGH has been very dull for a very long time,And everyone wrote LAGH off as a one off blog,and that it was a blog and will always remain to be one.

But we at LAGH are back again,with no fireworks or anything but with a simple message,A month or so ago we launched LAGH 2.0,but it never actually came out of the alpha state cycle.

We are here to inform you that,lifeatgitamhyd.com domain will be expiring on march 5th,2011.

And it wont signal the end of LAGH,no we will be back with more users and authors and a full fledged website this time.

March 5th and you will see what we mean :D
