The Rising- agenda-5 day a week on campus

I remember when the revolt of 1857 started it wasn't just due to the cartridges used ,but the growing unrest amongst the peasants.The very same (not exactly the same) happened on campus
the peasants a.k.a students had been given enough of excuses and fake promises by the management with the popular phase "Next Monday all will be done". But today for the first time in the history of GITAM UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD CAMPUS the Seniors got united keeping aside their differences and boycotting the classes.What started with a simple issue of ragging has now evolved into the voice of students demanding for a 5 day a week on campus.The past two semesters can be excuse for the following reasons
1st semester new batch "Labs weren't ready".
2Nd semester Telengana issue
3rd semester ??????????????
We have always been compared with the vizag campus . Always about academics but never issues regarding student infrastructure. If academics are ignored and students are compared then the obvious winner is The Main campus.
Till date management has been playing cheap tricks. This outburst was something that they should have foreseen.
As for calling parents for discussing about the 5 day a week maximum parents willingly supporting. 100+ km on a daily avg a student travels to and fro and an extra day off will be very welcoming
What happened today was just a small outburst today it was 240 asking for answers. tomorrow will be 1200 asking the same question.
