Lets straighten some frills,and move into all the campus news,of GITAM University (Hyderabad).
It been close to 5-10 odd days,Since we started receiving contributions from new students,read "Juniors",and we are happy to inform that,the new set of juniors who are contributing to the blog is pretty impressive.
On the other hand the fact remains,that ample amount of time,and resources are required to keep the current network running,in order to keep an eye on all the 20 odd sections,and covering each and every section is simply not feasible(atleast for now :P )
the kind of day to day coverage,which propelled the blog forward,will not be possible this time around,But we will strive to give constant updates,in order to keep this blog active.
When the right bunch of people,writers are found among each stream or at least a correct set of juniors are found,We will be willing to give them their own sub-domain,but as of now the select set of juniors (to become a Junior contributor please send a mail to lifeatgitamhyd@gmail.com ,and we will oblige ),are better of working in the background,rather than compiling mainstream articles.
With most of the old brigade gone,we are striving to put up some fun,up-beat articles,but this transition to the GOD form(Good Old Days),will surely take some time.
The Blog has been in quite some turmoil,and we are still trying to pull it back.
And we are confident of completing the restructuring process of the blog,by August 14th,A landmark day for GITAM University,for newbies August 14th is the day when GITAM University was formed(With respect to being declared a deemed University).

Enough of junkie talk,and lets roll into the most awaited period of the new year,
The Directors highly "acclaimed" Interaction sessions was reported to have taken place in a couple of sections today(validation needed ),and a EEE(B),junior chips in,that it was a pretty productive session,which lasted only 20-25 mins,during the library hour.
the minutes of this meeting(the first to be reported for thew batch of students on campus GITAM University Hyderabad),are more or less on the similar lines to the previous ones which the first batch(2009-2010),experienced in their Second semester,as from our past posts,we can safely assume that the promises remain the same,but this time around the only change is the deadline,and activity in terms of progress which is clearly visible.

- Indian bank(projected one month,We say 45 days :d),oh f**k!! We forgot to mention we ran a SCOOP!! on this article too!
SUBWAY:
The blog already ran a good SCOOP!! on it :)
But,the target date moved onto ,20 days henceforth,we say end of August :D
And the location remains unchanged as of now,the room next to the stores/sports room.
CANTEEN:
A small update on this other feature article,which was reported in the stone age of the canteen.
The capacity of the new canteen is about 450 Students.
BANK/ATM:
Though the director didn't put a fine point on the date,the inputs from other sources are that the Indian bank management is waiting for the official clearance to set up the bank.

HOSTEL:
A change for the old interaction session is the numerous complaints popping up from the boys and girls hostel,ranging for not so extensive mice/rats menace(Counter measure taken: they sent 50 rats pads).
And hot Water in the Boys hostel still remains and unsolved puzzle,as the hot water runs out exactly at about 7:15-7:30,and we presume with the weather getting cooler by the day,this issue if not solved at the soonest,will snowball and hit the management on the face.
TRANSPORT:
Campus to hostel, still remains one hell of a "kurukshetra" for most of the students,while others prefer to take the (relative) luxury of the Sharing autos,other prefer walking,and with the monsoon coming into the picture,the roads of Rudraram,are apparently the worst to be walking on,not to forget the dog menace.
Well,more of the hostel issues later,as of now,We don't get enough contributions via emails from the Hostels due to the lack of Internet facility.
SCOOP!!-SPORTS EQUIPMENT:
We will conclude this post,for the day with some special updates,the news just trickled in that a consignment of various sporting equipments,including footballs(*three cheers*),(We are so glad they finally made it!!)
And more number of throw balls,volleyballs,cricket bats,various indoor games have arrived on campus.
Finally,the Hyderabad campus of GITAM University,can boost of decent sports facilities :)

When talking about Hostel, kindly focus on the food supplied in the Hostel mess, the other day dosa was not fried properly, noodles were more salty, milk is about to become curd, proper attention has to be given, or else health of the students will be jeopardy.
