The Mess(Introduction):
The current boys mess,of GITAM University Hyderabad is simply stunning,with and the previous "avatar" of the mess is currently is a mere shadow of the present structure.
But there have been some issues ,not exclusively with the quality of food,but with the quantity of food.
it was only yesterday that the mysterious increase of students using the afternoon mess facility (Which has been a trend since the last couple of weeks),was cracked open,and the issue briefly follows,being a day-scholar,I might not be giving the exact point of view,but I have tried my best to keep it as neutral as possible.
The "Mess":
The actual reasons that the mess is totally messed up during the afternoon session is due to the fact that over 100 odd students(today 150),who are day-scholars are using the mess facility.
The total number of boys who are currently using the hostel facility is about 300,but for the past two weeks(and still increasing),there has been a sharp increase in the number of students who have been using the mess facility(lunch time),it was only yesterday that we realised that,these particular bunch of students were misusing our mess facility,under false assumptions and we took their weird reasons for granted,it was only yesterday during our interaction with the seniors that we realised how foolish we have been to not notice that,they have been making a mess in the mess,by misusing our food(duly paid for by us).
And since,there has been a Sharp rise in the number of students having lunch in the mess increased the quality has seen a proportionate decline.
ACTION:
thought we tried kicking out some specific day-scholars from our buses,(which ferry us from the campus ) ,others (who I dunno what ever you call this f**king syndrome technically,but in normal terms we call this as cheap attitude) headed to respond.
This made us burn ,as we were not getting our due share,and we couldn't tolerate someone misusing our parents hard earned money,and this called for some serious action.
During the evening itself,we have seen some minor issues being sorted out,and since the seniors were busy with the friendship day preparations,(they are reluctant to share the information with us,at this point of time!!),and due to their separate timings,they never had the chance to observe this anomaly.
What are the further course of actions,we will not know,but as of now,we are pretty sure that the faculty,seniors and us as well wont rest till we find a solution for this,as of now the management has decided to speed up the work of issuing separate ID cards,but an interim process will have to be arrived at.
the above issue reported,is not to be taken lightly but,the faculty and seniors assure us of immediate action,and we are under the impression that they will stand up to their word.
CAMPUS:
Coming back to the other campus news,the Volley ball knock out sessions are to take roots from tomorrow,with various high profile clashes on cards.
While the cricket and Football players will have to wait probably for eternity ,unless the rain stops lashing out the campus.
MBA Projects:
The MBA seniors who have been busy working out their projects/products are all set to showcase their virtual ventures,tomorrow in the MBA Floor,during 12:00-1:00,the B.tech students will be viewing the ventures,and casting their respective votes.

Good narration of the events, the mess issue has to be sorted out at the earliest.

Mess is really "messed up" by mean minded, petty, kanjoos people. They have to be shown the way out.
