We are back,to take this Blog forward in the right direction,till now we let it go astray for a while,but keeping in view the commencement of the second counselling of GITAM University(to be held simultaneously at Vizag and Hyderabad),We have decided to cover the Second counselling session,in spite of the (low) availability of seats,and the number of students who are desperately looking forward to this second session being few compared to the previous session,We vow that our commitment remains the same :)
SCHEDULE:
The second counselling is set to take place from the 21st of July,2010.
The GAT 2009,ranks are available in this post,GAT 2009.

- “Incomplete” implies few vacant seats still left(In convenors quota,not including the vacant seats of management quota.)
- `~`implies projected as these courses were not available last year.
- The Above rankings are “rounded off” to the nearest multiple of hundred.

IMPORTANT:
During the sliding process,if a person from “EEE” opts to slide into ECE,then his/her seat will be empty,and this will be added into the kitty of the over all EEE seats.
Complicated stuff,huh ?
Lets un-complicate then :
As of now,there are 123 ECE seats left,and about 27 EEE seats,If a person who already got admitted into EEE,decides to slide into ECE,then the tall of vacated seats in EEE goes up by 1,i.e,it becomes 28 seats,and this chain of actions follow :)
So,the current set of vacant seats are only indicative,once the second counselling starts,the seats will keep increasing too.
So you will always have a chance for close to +1,000 ranks,than the projected closing rank,given above :)
It is kind of weird trying to explain this,but hope I could drive home the point :)
