Its here,and its probably set to stay,the air is filled with all kinda of good vibes,obviously ignoring the stray uncalled incidents,the atmosphere was set right in tone,for the fest coming up in less than 18 hrs from now..
THE DECORATIONS:
The creative dept,was working full fledged on the decorations part of the campus,which involved the making up of various charts,posters,Felix's e.t.c,in order to fill up the staircase and the hallow places of the first and second floor completely..
The pics have just dropped by,And I seriously loved the way the MBA floor has been geared up for the fest,As expected the first floor was pretty lack lustre..
THE CELEBRATIONS:
All around,with attendance not being, mandatory,most of the B.tech students present were seen actively taking part in various activites,right from the decorations to taking care of the zillions other works..
Due thanks to all the faculty,who have been very glad to have assited,and at times did more work than the students..
THE STAGE:
20/30 was apparently,the size the management,rather the Co-convener requested,but the event manager took a step ahead and got a stage of 40/30,the issues now..?
Its apparently smaller than the management wanted it to be!!!
Crap,When you are paying close to 1.5 lakhs(Un-confirmed) for the event manager to do the stuff,You would rather listen to him than shove down your suggestions down his throat!!
THE TURN OUT:
Very poor show of unity by the B.tech streams,And I seriously am dis-heartened by it..
Close to 60% of the students didn't turn up today,the basic info was that the college would be working half-Day,and hence most of the ppl decided to stay back home,rather than make a trip of 5 hrs for a working day of 4 hrs lol..
THE DELAY:
If Any of you actually,expected the buses to start at either 1:30 or at 4' odd,you were probably not aware of the fest coming up tomorrow!!!
Idiots!!!
But,I seriously believe,that,they should have informed the students at least about the college functioning for one full-fledged day..
The buses started at around 5:30 odd,but with most of the roads nearly empty,ppl reached home in less time than they normally do, but quite late comparatively..:P
WORKS ON CAMPUS TILL 1:30:
The various dept/committees of the fest,and the students who live close by stayed on till close to 1:30(Un-confirmed) in the campus doing the decorative work,and various other paper work for the campus..
p.s.If it wasn't 1:30,Don't make a hull and cry over it!
Desperately waiting for Kibbutz'10..
