SCOOP!!-Basket Ball Court(s).

• STATUS        : Acquired the required Land and Funds.
• DEADLOCK     : Fast paced construction of new canteen/Workshop,delayed this.
• Courts-count   : Two underway process,One is finalised.

Okay guys!!!!

Here we go,on this wonderful journey,the best part of being part of the first batch,is this dumb thing,you get loads of un in exploring the reaches of the new campus,and the way its going to expand in the next couple of months or so,we may not even be justified in associating the current campus,with the probable mega structure at the end of the next couple of sems..!!!

This post has been in the pipeline for a very long time,but it finally sees the light of this blog,most of them are in fact aware of the fact that the campus has already acquired,close to 5-10 more acres right next to the workshop(Cumulative land in rurdaram 60 acres,including Hostel and Progressive constructions ltd land, VBC Ferro Alloys Limited lands, and Konaseema Gas Power Ltd.,all part of the VBC group!),the current plan is to have steps which lead us down,to the fields,which currently occupy that land,theses fields will have to be moved out in order to start the construction of the new Basketball courts.

CAMPUS EXPANSION:

The campus is all set to be expanded right adjacent to the  bus parking lot and the likes of it in order to accommodate the future location of the Basketball court.

THE LOCATION:

The exact location,is unknown to the source of this blog,and don't try to search for it,cause if we don't know it,then it is a direct implication that the management is oblivious of the fact too..(Just kidding about the last sentence :P),we need more high profile contacts to get that classified information,as of now We haven't got that kinda of spies working for us..:P

INVESTMENT:

The investment for these sets of courts is touted to be around the 10 lakh mark(INR),this may or may not be close to the figure,but most of the concert basketball courts,of not so bad quality are constructed on a similar financial aid,the figure projected here is totally an assumption,which will probably be pretty close to the actual figure. 

THE FIRST PICS:

Plz note the locations are still being considered and this is one of the hot spot of the probable basketball court(s).

Yeah!These are the temporary Constructions zone’s as previously reported earlier,Click Here.But once their use is full filled,they will be put to use for something else,ala,Probably the basketball courts!

THE CONSEQUENCS:

We will eventually  get to see some other sports becoming popular,than the regular cricket and the likes of caroms,which are the only official spots/games allowed,the football is there,but we don't have a separate ground or so ,the present ground is totally dominated by the cricketing freaks!

We also get a new place to hang around the campus,and also a better place to bunk,but one thing we ought to do away with is the current lunch break time of 30 mins,this ought be extended to at least 60 or better still 90 mins,it would be worth it!!!

CONCLUSION:

Ultimately,its another sing of hope for the current lot of students,that their investment(read fees) is not going to go in total vain,i would have loved these developments to have happened prior to the opening of this campus,the management may not be able to satisfies all our extravagant needs,but it is ready to fulfil the basic stuff,its not necessarily out of our concern but basically due to the the probable fear of the UGC(lol!)
