GITAM UNIVERSITY : GAT 2010 COUNSELLING DAY FOUR(19/06/2010)

INTRODUCTION:

GAT 2010(GITAM ADMISSION TEST),is an all India common entrance exam conducted by GITAM University,for admissions into various programmes offered at its campuses located in Hyderabad and Vizag.(We are virtually sick of this intro line,but we are helpless,we are getting plenty of new traffic,and we need to give this introduction every time else they get confused with GATE 2010 :P)

And now,lets all jump together into the review session of GAT 2010 FIRST COUNSELLING DAY FOUR(lol).

DAY FOUR(19/06/2010):

Simply boring,the seats of vizag were being occupied on par with yesterdays movement and the seats were all gobbled up,the only seats which remain are in bio-Tech and B.pharm as has been the case with GAT 2009 .

The Hyderabad campus seats still remain lacklustre, with close to 200 seats being left,and we are not pointing fingers at any one,as the culprits are obvious :).

Extended first counselling:

The extended first counselling dates have been released(or Second counselling whatever you like,but don’t get this confused with sliding :))

The next round of counselling is set to take place on the 24th of june.

The ranks called for counselling are from : 12,000 to 17,500.

these ranks holders will be given the opportunity to fill in the still vacant seats at both the campuses.

Predictions:

• (Vizag)Bio-tech : 16,000.
• Civil(hyd)        : 13,000
• EIE(hyd)         : 13,500
• IND(Hyd)        : 16,000
• IT(Hyd)          : 14,000
