Water water every where,except where we need it..!....DAY:15/04/2010

 Yeah,an excellent title,but worthless if you don't understand it,but the theory behind the above title is very simple,in fact so simple that,if have happened to visit the Library,you wont have to read any further,but if you didn't visit the library,(Like most of us !!),then you can understand the situation,from the following couple of pics..

 

Below is the detailed explanation of what's going on in the above pic,Very simple the thing is for the past couple of days the campus has been running on A/C's(Yeah they finally realised that,there is a way you can Switch it ON,WOW!!),So there is quite some leakage problem,nothing to get alarmed about,just casual leakage problem,And we at this blog are making no attempt to hype it around,as if the campus is being flooded or something,its just a bucket,rather dustbin of water every half an hour or so..

But you,see we have a problem on hand,And the management ought to get it right,If not it will spell TROUBLE,for them tomorrow,when the prospective students come over to take the test through which you gain Entrance into this reputed Institute(5th Best in the Country,1st best in the State,Blah Blah..Whatever,cant even afford a decent Football,Dumb heads!),And this has also been reported in the ECE class too(apparently :))

  

CONSTRUCTION:

The 6th floor,officially named the 7th floor,You can Call it what ever you want to on the basic of your nomenclature,but according to this Blog and the official version it remains the 6th floor..:P,or wait was it the 7th floor ?

I ought to get this weird floor naming system of GITAM UNIVERSITY,HYDERABAD right,its extremely weird..argh..!!

How do you ppl Live with it ??

GAT-2010:

In our last post,you saw the trucker loaded with decolam/Wooden sheets and given below are their intended use...

 

The above pic contains the cublices to be used during the GAT-2010,Would be juniors,currently reading this blog,you ought to know where and how the things actually fell in place for GAT-2010,the entrance into this Reputed University(Used it the second time in this post..hum..:P)

 

The work is on to make close to 100 odd(~120),cubicle covers like the one's in the pic,not a huge task ,but I wana know,when they are going to be placed,Cause in less than 18 hrs from now the GAT-2010 will be underway....

And the Final look will probably be something like this..

 

Hope they remove theses dumb things for the Lab Externals,it will be very weird to write the exams in these dumb cubicles..!!

NOTE:Regular readers/Followers,You probably noticed the Smaller size of the Watermark(Previously MS/Windows Font Size 36 currently 30 ),That is cause there are a couple of minute changes going on right now at the Blog,I don't want the URL of this Blog to scream out LOUD on the pics,it looks very disturbing and ugly,but the major reason I am decreasing the font is because,I Want to give you the freedom to explore more details of the pics,And I am definitely not the rightful owner of the above pics,they belong to my contributors,and thanks a lot to the Photographic Dept "Heads" of the Blog,I owe most or rather all of my pics in the recent times to you,Pics add loads of value to it,and it is not without wisdom that the saying "A picture speaks a 1000 words",was born..

WHERE ISNT THE WATER ??

Where we Need it!!!
We need it,in the Washrooms..!!                               We need it,Near the Canteens washbasin(And A mirror too plz..!)

And We definitely need it to drink,,There is an acute shortage of Water points in the Campus,and we have been Screaming out loud at the management,but no one Seems to bother to get good water points to the college,We Need Water,the temperature is ~40 C,And We need water points,where we can get Cool water,there is just one dumb Water cooler near the reception,which cant take the rush..!!

Come on management,Time to buckle up,Prospective students will be reading this blog too...Now,I bet you don't want them to be disappointed at the inability of this great institute(Deemed to be an University) to provide DECENT water points..

Note:Faculty,I know you are reading this,Plz do the needy,ala,forward this water crisis to an higher official...Or show it to the director,I don't give a damn ,Just see that we get some cool water to drink..!And also note that,there is loads of difference between the "management" and the "faculty"

And Finally back to the normal font,and the normal mood of the Blog,Boy that was some lashing out there,If there isn't any improvement by the time the campus opens us for the semester end exams,I Am goona write a whole article on Water and the Water crisis on Campus,a Full Fledged article,With true Journalism sprit,and without indulging in Yellow Journalism..And,Not to blow my own trumpet,I am capable of writing Seriously good stuff,When I actually Wanna,Even with very few resources,I can spin a Blog Post,which can make a huge impact ,By just the words used in it,Wanna take the collision head on ??,then Bring it on..!!!!

MIDS:

So,The last working day is finally here,and we are all going to end a beautiful controversial journey together,More on this later in my next personal message at 3600 hits,its around the corner..I can see it coming..:),Actually 4k doesn't seem all that far fetched for me either..

MATH III:

Extremely sorry,Vijay Shekar sir,But I have to give the general review of your paper today,And I am extremely apologetic to say that,Most of the students have happened to ignore you apparent repeated attempts at making them see light in your words that,Listening to the class is the best kind of preparation,and m3 happens to be once such subject,where being in the class is pretty essential,But,most of them ignored this,either due to  their age or pride which comes out of their age,and they are the people who felt the essence of the pride balloon deflated,the instance they saw the paper..And those who didn't prepare either,probably felt the same way..(Students plz..!Stop ,attacking me with the tomatoes, I hate them on my face,like them on my plate..!)

OKAY OKAY..Enough support for the faculty,back to the student issues,Else this rainfall of tomatoes wont stop..

Whatever,the paper was pretty difficulty,And We don't blame you for that,cause sometimes things like this do happen,and you still remain to be one of our favourite faculty members,(Trust me,we like quite a lot of faculty ppl..More on it later..:P)

 

CHEMISTRY:

CSE and EEE has fun with chemistry as always,And its definitely not due to the fact that important questions come in handy,but due to the Love of the students towards the faculty member,more so than the subject itself,All thanks to Patrudu Sir,The person who redefined chemistry,and made it extremely interesting for even some souls who found it to be worthless,And He is one such person who would handle even a dumb worthless subject like Physics(Without any intention to refer to the person who currently teaches it,Dr.Balaji Rao;Readers,If you deduce that every time I say phy I indirectly refer to him, I cant give a damn to it,your assumptions are none of my concern dear assumer,For me Phy is Phy and Dr.Balaji Rao remains just that to me,And "Just that" doesn't necessarily imply Phy,argh...!!Confusion all around,just for the sake of Physics oh,How I dislike you..!...)

p.s.The above stuff in parenthesis hardly makes any dumb sense,So don't try to break your head trying to deduce it,Just Move on...!

Now Back to the topic,Yes,YEs,Where was i ,yeah right found the rhythm Back again to Patrudu Sir,Oh How I wish  I could attend a couple of your lectures,the way ppl,rather the contributors tell me about your teaching,you seems like the person who can also make a dumb subject like Phy(This Time,I am not going to explain anything here..!),Seem interesting and attractive too..Forget the marks,or important questions aspect for the time being,he is the Perfect TEACHER...Perfect with a Capital P mind you..the crusader of back benchers..the most popular faculty among the students..We love you a lot,and we love your teaching even more,The Green boards comes up to life when you touch it with various colours of chalk,the boring lessons spring up in joy,when you teach them,Why Why,I seem to be getting poetic,and I will carry this on further in my other posts ,like the coming up Faculty review post..:P

While,IT and ECE had to face the heat of having to study 5 odd chapters,more like pre-sems than a mids..lol..

But then Surendra sir did give 14~15 odd important questions

,but very few turned up,the reason ?

Those questions were important for the semester end exam,boy!!Whoever told anyone that the MIDs paper would come from them..lol..Good One..Seriously,Its April 15th,Yet the fools days humour hasn't faded away from the faculty..lol..

AN END,BUT A DELAY ....

And  A very satisfying post,and a satisfying post comes to end,Ah..If only the saying all's well that ends well was true,It definitely doesn't hold water for people from GITAM UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD,The buses were delayed by close to 45 odd min,they started around 4:45 ODD,when they normally started around 3:45 odd,while the mids were on..

Reason for the delay,Some construction work,near the temporary construction zone,But no kind of official word was received,except that the buss would start at 4:30,and then the time changed to 5:00 ,but the buses did start around 4:45 odd...Finally the last working day of the semester comes to an,end And Now I can probably quote with confidence the above saying once again..All's Well that ends well,ala,Aal Izz Well..

And thus Ends,another memorable journey of GITAM UNIVERSITY HYDERBAD,and So does the journey of this Blog take a pit stop,Coming back soon with a new Avatar,Keep hitting back at us..!!
