Happy Easter everyone !
Sunday,the mention of the word itself,is enough to make your heart jump with joy,and your eyes twinkle,with a bright smile up your face at the very mention of it,Its simple,who wouldn't want to take a day off,from a hectic week?
But,we do it differently here at GITAM Hyderabad,we work on Sundays,It would be wrong not to support this claim of mine,but four of the last five Sundays have been working,I presume the students are sick of having to work on a Sunday,I probably think the Faculty would be in unison with them on this view...
Yeah,the notice which did the rounds yesterday did read " Will be compensated later ",
But When is the question I ask..?
Along with the Semester end vacation ?
I bet not..!

When the Campus working for 6 days a week itself is under scrutiny(Very few Deemed Universities,IIT's work for 6 days,and Considering the distance of the Campus from the City,it ought to be restricted to 5 days a week),the management has decided to keep the College functioning on a public holiday,not to mention this particular Sunday happens to be the Easter Sunday,Still we work!
Less than 60% Turn out(I think)...Another Sunday,it will fall to 10%..lol..:P
LOW TURNOUT:
It is so damn obvious!!!
A holiday,Stress of completing records for various labs , and the pressure of having to write the lab internals from tomorrow for the EEE and CSE stream,implies most of the people from these sections turned up either to get their record work corrected or to practise a couple of experiments in the lab,Hardly anyone turned up in the college to attend classes,(Its another thing,that they were hardly any classes held)..
So the Jinx of not coming on a Sunday intensifies with this probable last working Sunday...
GAT-2010:
Yepp!!!
GAT 2010,is finally here,and apparently,The campus also happens to be a centre for the Examination,and hence the ground floor has intense level of cleaning work,going on all through the day,Ayyama's can be seen scrubbing the walls in the cellar to perfection,and their is also work to make the Central air -conditioning in the labs and the Cellar work more efficiently,given that the parents would be accommodated in the Reading room and the Library..
So something in store for you guess,Expect excellent behaviour from your faculty during 16th April to 5th March !(obviously in suitable conditions,like the presence of parents :P)

All you little freakters out there,Sending out loads of wishes from this Blog,hope you come out cheerful from the Auto-Cad ,Chem,and E/E lab,And pity those poor bakkras who will have to open the Phy lab internals this semester,Heart felt condolences(In Advance) to all those who are ready to get slaughtered,ala,Batch I(CSE),Its very hard to speculate what's going to happen in the Lab tomorrow,or how many of you are going to survive the Butcher's knife..!
