College to re open on 6th Jan,If only…

The GITAM UNIVERSITY,Hyderabad campus,is all set to re open on the 6th of January,the college was closed from the 24th of dec,due to the continuation of the ‘T’ struggle.This after the college was closed from 26th nov to 18th of Dec,yet the college was functional for around 4 odd days,and had to shut shop(Yet again),this was vaguely explained by my dumb Wave theory,but heck that does not explain much,but as long as we get more holidays most of us are happy,but the most sucking part is that these uncalled holidays just landed up in our basket with out prior intimation,with all theses dumb bandh’s around,parents can hardly allow their teens to roam around(Yet we do..:P),I am not taking any sides,as long as I get Hyderabad,but the favour is sure to tilt towards the T state,indication?well yesterdays processions,and the turnout at OU,was stupendous!!!(no dont tell me some guy pumped in the money,it surely wasn't that way,at least as I see it!)

CONCLUSION:

well,ppl forget the results,look forward to the new start of the second  semester ,after all its been a long wait…

A Personal Message 200 Hits.

Seriously I never expected this to soon,this soon,well did make arrangements to promote this blog,and also GITAM,on the 26th of dec  when this blog  had around 50 odd hits,but the promotion didn't go in vain though ppl aren't commenting on this blog,or mailing me at  paz.inbox@gmail.com. Its been around 25 odd days since the inception of the blog,and with hardly any previous blogging record I did make all the use of this interim “winter vacation”,and dedicated most of the time hunting out for popular NGO’s and good brands(tried choosing Indian stuff where I could!),and not so popular NGO’s too, I wish to make this blog more than what it seems to be called,its gotta be a place where you can access any thought provoking,and any suggestion with respect to new organisations etc,are always welcomed!!

Well,200 may not seem a huge achievement for the readers(if any),and provocative for other bloggers for being glad on completing 200,most might be getting these kinda of hits in an hr or two,but the fact is I put in a lot of effort into this blog,to make it what it is as of now,and that to with hardly any clue of HTML and related stuff,it was pretty tough getting used to it,but as of now,I intended to make this blog more popular by not just promoting it but also,by making it loads better,right from the quality of issues discussed to the quality of the blog structure,and I would like you all to note that I have got no intentions of having a monopoly over the blogging spectrum with respect to GITAM Hyderabad campus or vizag,I seriously would love to have other GITAMites,blogging too ,well too many cooks spoil the food,but heck we will be working on our personal curries(ala blogs),so looking forward to at least a couple more blogs dedicated to GITAM,as of now,I am not really looking forward to celebrating 200,its just a minute step,the basic reason for this post is that I wanted to write about something and 200 seemed a fine reason to post on(I have got addicted to it!!),the other things like

• The hostel progress
• results-part 2
• The faculty
• surprise elements!

Are still being processed,gotta work and handle it with more finesse and tact,I don't wanna ruin those 6 followers I have got,I just wonder why in the world ppl aren't posting comments or following this blog either(its a simple 2 step process to both),well,I have decided to make it easier for you lot,I am scrapping the word verification process,and also activating the anonymous,posting,and I will have the moderation on,and it wont bother you ppl much I believe,so as long as you don't get arrogant,or vulgar,rest assured I will positively moderate your posts..

waiting more more NGO’s?wont keep you lot waiting(If you are there!),200 kicked in today,and you will have the goodies by 4th of Jan,2010,will keep filling up the blog with all kinda of goodies,till college reopens!

Results..!!!

Well,Most of us were pretty surprised,last afternoon,no one had the slightest clue that the results were around the corner,except the few,who do follow this blog,I did run a “scoop” on the results,in my previous post..

No one has any clue as to when the results were actually announced,those who were stuck onto the GITAM home page,might have noticed that the Examinations site wasn't working,neither did we have the Application link for GAT-2010,earlier in the day,a clear indication that,something prevented the release of the application,and that was it,the results were out,and the news slowly spread,the worst part is the website,works just fine with IE but totally pathetic,when coupled with FF.

CATASTROPHIC STRIKE:

Not only was the timing of the results  totally unexpected but so were the results,ppl who scored O grades in a couple of subjects,flunked in a couple too,an excellent case study would be the ECE stream,those who were expected to perform didn't and the worst part is ppl flunked subjects like Eng,well…

• Math
• Phy
• Chem

The basic survey resulted in the following order,and I believe this would be the  actual pattern .Most of the ppl active around the campus,for various reasons right from organising meets and stuff; to the most notorious of the lot,failed to come clean in this semester.

CAUSE :

We lot,were being unpretentious ,when we used to talk about how the GITAM management,would strive to support us,being the 1st batch,they would want to send out good vibes,to the next batch of students,but what we failed to notice,was that ,attracting students,doesn't play an important role,but parents does,so you don't have to be a down-to-Earth person to understand the logic,give what the students deserve,with just a little push,and if we have failures let them fail,at least it will show the world,that just because we are a Deemed-university,it doesn't imply we are lenient.

A very good move(CRAP!!I hate tomatoes,cant stand them on my face,Stop the ambush!) ,I must say,but they should have at least made their intentions clear,the way the Externals were held,most of the students were under the impression that clearing would be child's play,but we were proved wrong,clearing was the most toughest part,forget about scoring good grades..

So the respect is bound to grow,(Not with the students,obviously),we seriously expected that the management wouldn't let us down,by letting itself down,talk about a double edged weapon,this is the finest of the lot…but it finally did let us down,and held its chin up!!!Argh…!!!

BLAME-GAME:

all students out there,I am one too,I am pretty sure the blame game will start with students holding the management at fault and the faculty going”We told you so!!”,students will just start getting arrogant,but remember,how much ever insulting this may sound (Stop throwing the shoes at me!!!),who wins the blame game,is totally irrelevant,but the fact is we,the students are supposed to acknowledge the fact that,we considered this to be our University,hence they wouldnt fail us,(after all we paid hefty fees,in the name of Rudraram!!),and being  subject to very few rules,we were expecting the management to support us,will in a way they did.(plz!!no more eggs at me!!)

Enough of philosophy,but I am not gona start off a” whack the management for miss leading us”,campaign,from my blog,at least from this  blog of mine..:P

So all GITAMites,out there buckle up,and start studying,we would have performed much better,with just a little effort,considering the current results,are when we hardly cared to study,(Under the obvious shield,that we paid the price of a NANO!!),so better embrace the next semester,than to experience a déjà vu.

Note:well,I might have  indulged in a lil of unfair,liking towards the management(this is the end of it!!),it was only because I cleared Math,else it would have been a disaster,I am still reeling under affection towards the management for passing me,and as far as those who couldn't crack the nut,I am extremely sorry,I am going to whip the management too(they were at fault too but this isn't the place to discuss it!)..watch this blog!
